WHY "EAST MADE?"
"East Made" is a reference to our upbringing - Baltimore-raised, East Coast lovers, with a penchant for travel and appreciation for art, architecture, and design. We love a clean, elegant, European-inspired aesthetic, and enjoy juxtaposing modern and old world styles.
At East Made, we believe in the inviting warmth of a wedding so personally tailored to you that walking through the door feels like coming home. Our favorite gatherings are replete with laughter, effusive tears, memorable music, and delectable food, surrounded by your dearest family and friends. Our work happens quietly and unobtrusively behind the scenes, allowing you and your guests the precious time and energy needed to fully enjoy a stellar celebration. We build close, personal relationships with our clients—full of humor, creativity, and trust, and are eager to learn about your unique story.
OWNER, LEAD PLANNER, & STYLIST Elizabeth was born and raised in downtown Baltimore and has been reading Elle Decor and Martha Stewart Weddings since ninth grade. With advanced degrees in classical viola performance from Rice University and the University of Maryland, and experience performing in major symphony orchestras like the Baltimore Symphony, she is naturally detail-oriented, perceptive, and organized.
A travel enthusiast, Elizabeth regularly incorporates fine art and cultural inspiration into her designs, and is especially known for her innovative flatlay and prop styling. Her current inspirations include Parisian architecture, vintage jacquard and brocade fabrics, and modern minimal home design, and her favorite moment on every wedding day is sending the bride down the aisle.
