We consider ourselves a pretty organized couple and debated whether or not we even needed a day of coordinator. We ended up deciding to get a day of coordinator and in hindsight that was the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. More specifically, hiring Elizabeth and the East Made Event Company was the best decision we made.Though we got the “day of” wedding planning package, with Elizabeth that is really “month of” coordination. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she was available at a moment’s notice either by email or by phone. We thought that we had thought of every little detail, but she reminded us of little things that we had forgotten. She contacted all of our vendors for us, confirmed their arrival time at the venue, and dealt with scheduling issues without involving us at all. She set up our entire timeline and ensured that our vendors stuck to it. At the rehearsal she took the lead, showed us all where we needed to be and when, and was able to pull together some last minute table decorations where we had forgotten them.On the day of the wedding she was incredible. She was at the venue a full three hours before the ceremony started and was able to coordinate all the vendors to ensure that everything was set up in the right places. She seemed to be everywhere at once and yet we barely knew she was there. She kept us on our schedule, gave us updates, but was also flexible when things took longer or not as long as we expected. She worked great with our photographer, DJ, and caterer and we didn’t have to worry about anything such as vendor meals, final payments, or making sure that the cards and gifts were moved inside. From the beginning of the day to the end, Elizabeth had a smile on her face and was helpful for everyone involved in the wedding. It wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without her and we highly recommend her services. Having Elizabeth around will make everything easier, smoother, and less stressful!
